The Gulmarg Gondola project was started as a joint venture by the French company Pomagalski and the government of Jammu and Kashmir. 1998 saw the completion of the Gulmarg Gondola’s first phase, which connected Gulmarg and Kongdoori. For skiing enthusiasts, a third phase of the Gulmarg Gondola was added in 2011, with ninety chairlifts linking Kongdoori and Mary’s Shoulder. The second-longest and second-highest cable car in the world is the Gulmarg Gondola. Also to mention French people doesn’t require any ticket for Gulmarg Gondola ride.
