The second is global warming. Many people also believe that since it only occurs once or twice every ten years, there is no need for concern.

There are the top 3 places where you can find snow in Kashmir:
Sinthan Top, is situated 12,440 feet above sea level. Even though it is one of the valley’s unusual and less frequented tourist spots, the area is gradually growing in popularity due to less snow fall in most of the regions is Kashmir. It is around 130 kilometres south of Srinagar.
In Sinthan top you can do a lot of activites and thats why this place is at top. You can do Skiing and snow mobile riding and much more. It took us around 3 hours to reach there from Srinagar.
Some Important Points regarding Sinthan Top Pass Are:
Pir ki Gali is a beautiful area located at an elevation of 1140 feet, above sea level located in Shopian District of Jammu and Kashmir. Peer ki Gali is place where you would find snowy mountain ranges. Peer ki Gali is approximately 88 Km away from Srinagar and takes around 1 and a half hour to reach. This place does not have such snow activities like Sinthan top, But the view is worth it you can have barbeques and Kashmiri Kahwa at Peer ki Gali.
Some Important Points regarding Peer ki Gali Are:
Gulmarg Second Phase is the most famous place in all of the three. This place can be reached via Gondola/cable car. Here you will find a lot of snow and also will find a number of snow activities like snowboarding, skiing, Snow tubing and Sledge riding. This place is know for its thrill and snow sports. If you are a adventure loving person then this is the best. In Gulmarg you can also do a Helicopter Ride. Gulmarg is around 55 Km away from Srinagar and take around 70 minutes to reach.
